PMC PH2

SprayWorks Equipment has an expansive line of spray foam insulation machines for sale, and as a certified top distributor of Polyurethane Machinery Corporation (PMC), Graco Inc., and Gusmer manufactured products, you can always be sure you’re getting the best quality equipment for your business at the best price.

We offer both hydraulic and air-driven proportioner spray foam machines, and our products can be used for a variety of jobs and a range of applications. Choosing the right proportioner machine for your job is vital to a successful application of spray foam or polyurea coatings, and it’s important to understand the variables in place when determining which machine is appropriate.

These include:

  • Pump drive system
  • Output
  • Pressure rating
  • Heating capacity
  • Electrical system

There are two different types of machines to choose from: PMC hydraulic or air-driven, as well as Gusmer hydraulic machines. PMC also offers spray foam proportioners that use an air-driven system with opposed piston pumps, which is known as the PMCA Classic Series.

Hydraulic Proportioners Air Driven Proportioners Compact Proportioners

PMC, Gusmer, and Graco hydraulic spray foam insulation machines offer higher outputs of up to 50 lbs/min and pressure ratings that max at 3,500 psi. Air-driven machines are lower-output, ranging around 25- 30 lb/min, and have a psi of 3,000.

Generally, air-driven machines offer a smaller footprint, and are more cost-effective for startups and individual contractors. While hydraulic machines can handle larger projects like roads, bridges, and commercial jobs, air-driven proportioner spray foam machines combine value and performance.

The chemicals applied in most jobs typically have to be processed at 140°F – 160°F for coatings and 110°F – 140°F for spray foam, which ensures even coverage and accurate pumping and mixing. The machine must have a strong heating system capable of keeping up with the output. Air-driven proportioner machines have heating wattages between 6-15 kW, while our hydraulic machines go up to 20 kW. Hydraulic machines require electrical connection to power the drive pump, while air-driven machines need access to an air compressor.

Our specially trained team is here to help answer your questions and choose the right proportioner for your job. We offer in-person training for you and your team to ensure you get the most productivity out of your PMC machine. The cost of training is directly applied to your proportioner purchase.
