Replacing and Cleaning Proportioner Y Filter Screens

In this Fix-It Friday video, we review multiple types of Y-Filters and the respective screens. PMC, Graco, and Gusmer proportioners and reactors can be challenging to understand for a beginner. Even for the experienced applicator, maintenance and repairs can be overwhelming.

This video, titled “Replacing and Cleaning Proportioner Y Filter Screens,” explores the makeup of Y-Filters – which can be found on any major proportioner or reactor. Y-Filters are designed to prevent contaminants from entering the material.

Depending on the type of screen you need will determine the type of screen mesh you look for. For PMC Machines, 60 mesh is the standard, 80 mesh is the finest, and 30 mesh is the coarsest mesh. Get the parts you need in this video, from the links below.
